Directions to River Access Points (R.A.P.) on the Animas River from North to South
Bakers Bridge: 12 miles north of Durango on Hwy 550. Turn right on CR250 past mile marker 35 to Durango Riverside Resort and RV Park. 1/4 mile past the resort you will be at Bakers Bridge on the Animas River.
Trimble Lane: 6 miles north of Durango on Hwy 550. Turn right on Trimble Lane (CR252) (Trimble Hot Springs) at the stop light. In less than 1 mile on the right just before crossing the river you will see the the Trimble Lane RAP.
32nd Street: 1.5 miles north of downtown Durango on main/hwy550 turn right on 32nd street and the City Market Grocery store. Take the first left after crossing the river and go 1 block to the RAP.
9th Street: self-evident I hope
Santa Rita: also known as the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors center located at 111 S. Camino del Rio. Less than a mile south of the junction of hwy160 and hwy 550 near the Double Tree Hotel.
Four Corners: 1 mile south of downtown behind the Four Corners Riversports.
Walmart: actually adjacent to Walmart next to the La Plata Cnty Humane Society
Escalante Crossing: the new bridge behind Home Depot at Dallabetta park
