The scenic Animas River Rafting Trip
Below are the basics, but anything can be arranged to suit your interests. That's right, this is a custom, no itinerary trip just for you!
The shorter Class II float is 6 miles from Bakers Bridge to Trimble lane. Time on the water varies with the flow, about 2-3 hours.
The longer lazy river Class I float is 12 miles from Trimble lane to the 32nd street, about 4-6 hours depending on flow.
Trip departs when you want to. Sunrise trip, mid day trip, sunset trip, whatever you prefer to fit into your schedule.
Want to have lunch or a meal on the river? bring your beverages and goodies and I will bring the cooler. Got more money than time? I will supply an amazing meal for just $12 per person..
This is a personalized trip (often called a no itinerary trip) based on your desires, call me to discuss your ideas and we will come up with a plan.

The 6 mile, 2-3 hour, Class II trip is $150.00 for 2 adults and 2 children
The 12 mile, 4-6 hour, Class I trip is $250.00 for 2 adults and 2 children
Additional adults $25/person
Additional children $15/child
Later season, low water or longer trips add $30/hour.
One raft holds up to 6 adults or 8 children or a combination thereof.

Hiking, Biking and Boating Shuttles
Shuttles: I will get your vehicle where you need it for boating, mountain biking or hiking in the Durango, Colorado area. Read more on my shuttles page. Shuttles start at $30/hour.

Fly Fishing Trips
Here's the deal: I have friends who are fly fisher people, I have read some great books about fly fishing (very philosophical musings in general), I can put a raft just about anywhere. But I don't fish (yet). I don't tie flys. But if you want to go down the river fishing and don't need an expensive guide, I am your man.
These trips run the gold medal waters below or south of the
Durango Visitors center on the Animas River.
Half day float one angler $175
Half day float two anglers $225
Full day float one angler $225
Full day float two anglers $275
